Ali Emre Malçok was born in Ankara in 1987. He began his musical journey at the age of six with the piano, building a strong foundation in music theory and solfège. His interest in traditional music grew stronger during his high school years, when he was introduced to the bağlama, one of the principal instruments of Turkish folk music. He studied the instrument intensively for many years, gaining substantial experience in traditional performance practices.

Malçok continued his music education at Karadeniz Technical University, where he shifted his focus to the clarinet. Under the guidance of some of Türkiye's leading music educators, he deepened his knowledge and experience in Turkish classical music, Turkish folk music, traditional performance practices, and instrumental pedagogy.

Following his graduation, he worked with many prominent artists across a wide range of musical genres and contributed to numerous album recordings, live performances, and collaborative music projects. In 2010, he founded the Ali Emre Malçok Clarinet Academy, where he has trained more than 1,000 students to date. His educational work includes one-to-one lessons, online courses, instructional videos, workshop series, and mentoring programs.

Working with students from different countries around the world, Malçok is recognized as one of the prominent educators in the teaching and transmission of traditional Turkish music through the clarinet. Alongside his educational work, he continues to perform, compose, and collaborate with artists on international music productions. Through these activities, he brings the distinctive sound of Turkish music into contact with different cultures, creating a musical bridge between them.

As an artist endorsed by Amati Kraslice and JodyJazz, Ali Emre Malçok represents the Turkish clarinet tradition on the international stage through his collaborations with these brands. His performances, compositions, and recordings have been featured in various international catalogues and selections, reaching audiences around the world. These achievements reflect the international recognition of his experience as a clarinet performer and his distinctive musical approach.

Malçok has also made significant contributions to the development of clarinet-related products in Türkiye. He has collaborated with various local clarinet manufacturers, clarinet microphone producers, and reed makers, supporting their production processes and taking part in research and development activities. These efforts have contributed to improvements in the quality, performance, and usability of clarinets and clarinet equipment, leaving a notable impact on the clarinet industry in Türkiye.

Ali Emre Malçok continues his work as an educator, performer, composer, and music researcher, representing the Turkish clarinet tradition both in the field of education and on the international music scene.
